  • About

The Crimson Moon Cafe is conveniently located on the historic Public Square of Dahlonega, Georgia. It is housed in the c.1858 ''Parker-Nix Storehouse'' - the second oldest building on Dahlonega's charming historic square. The building was operated as a traditional southern ''general store'' for nearly fifty years, but has been recently renovated to become the home of ''The Southeast's Most Intimate Music Venue''... The Crimson Moon Café.

The nationally known listening venue and restaurant now offers a full service menu for breakfast/brunch, lunch and dinner - with an organic coffee house, beer, wine, and handcrafted cocktails! Live, multi-genre and mostly acoustic music is offered most Wednesdays through Sunday evenings as well as some weekend afternoons, with reserved stage-floor ticketed seating for most events. Patrons who wish to simply enjoy great food, conversation and atmosphere are invited to walk upstairs to enjoy the New Orleans style fresh air porch overlooking the square, two private dining rooms, or the 'step back in time' bar in the c. 1858 ''Half Moon'' saloon. For reservations for show seating, please visit www.TheCrimsonMoon.com or call 706-864-3982. For dinner reservations or special / group events please call 706.864.3982

“One of the best female vocalists I’ve ever heard - Malone is an extraordinarily gifted and accomplished.” — CHUCK LEAVELL (Allman Brothers, The Rolling Stones) “Equal parts guitar slinger and sweet songstress, with masterful lyrical introspection – sublime to raucous. ”— -GUITAR WORLD Compared to most musical artists in the Americana genre, Michelle Malone seems like a pair of distressed blue jeans amidst a sea of pantsuits. Unlike the surplus of self-professed rootsy rebels, one listen to this woman from Dixie and you know you’re hearing the real thing. Her new album, Stronger Than You Think, is her strongest effort yet. Malone’s unforced, soulful voice and slide guitar playing take the blues and turn them into supremely-hooky roots rock songs that will make you wanna trash a juke joint and hi-five yourself after crying in your beer! Roxie Watson is a four-piece string band from Atlanta, Georgia that blends gorgeous vocal harmonies and stellar songs into live performances that will just as soon make you laugh as shed a tear. Their music combines elements of old country, rock-a-billy, bluegrass, gospel, and even a little touch of classic rock ‘n roll. Regularly selling out storied songwriting venues from Eddie’s Attic in Decatur, GA to the Bluebird Cafe in Nashville, TN, each band member takes turns with the lead vocal and contributes to both song and arrangement ideas. From the firecracker guitar playing of Bolley to the delicate mandolin of Wheeler, the propulsive bass of Lasater to the banjo poetry of Tetlow, the lap steel and button box swells to the harp and guitar rhythms of Shaw, Roxie Watson weaves a rich sound.
