About Us

This wonderful B&B hotel has hosted guests year-round for 35 years. Paul Carmody, the Innkeeper, has owned and operated the lodge for 13 years.

An authentic post & beam cedar Main Lodge, a smaller (4 rooms) Hillside Lodge and the Mountain Crest cabin offer different lodging options.
Enjoy our cozy rooms, hearty breakfasts, attentive hospitality and 15 wooded acres of natural beauty. The spacious decks, shaded porches and patios add to the special "mountain retreat" experience our woodland enclave provides.

Start your day with a cup of coffee on the decks or perhaps meander along the 1/2 mile paved private drive. Our hearty breakfasts are served at 9 AM. Couple's tables in the dining room are the norm with some small group seating tables available.

It is an easy 6 minute drive to the historic Dahlonega square. Take your pick of the convenient shops, restaurants, spas, wineries, hiking trails and waterfalls offering everything you might like to do in the north Georgia mountains.

We have seasonal (Nov. through Apr.) 360 degree panoramic views, sunrises and sunsets that light up the sky. During the shady summer and the colorful fall months, we invite you to enjoy the cooler tranquility and privacy of our woodland preserve.

We have great mobile phone service, robust WiFi service and streaming TVs in the rooms.

We operate year round as a B&B hotel. We enjoy having groups of customers, but we not longer host private events or rent the B&B/hotel as a ''house rental.''
