  • About

Come experience a taste of the Old West - horseback riding, romantic carriage rides, wedding carriage service and dinner wagon cookouts with live entertainment. Four miles east of Amicalola Falls State Park. For Reservations and information, call 706-867-9395.

Take a trip back to the Old West! We will drive your group in horse drawn wagons for a 20 minute ride to the ''Riverhouse''. This rustic 1800's style Riverhouse has 2 stories with 2,500 square feet in the forest alongside a stream. Here you will enjoy good old home cooking with steaks and BBQ chicken cooked on the grill. In the Riverhouse the lower level is Saloon style with a cedar shaving floor, buffet service area and pool table (BYOB). Just outside is the bonfire camp, sand volleyball court, badminton, panning for gold and horseshoe pitching on the island.

Guided Trail Rides: One Hour, Two Hour & Half Day rides are a great way to satisfy your sense of adventure. Beginners are advised to start off on a gentle One Hour Ride. It's our most tame trip which travels through scenic mountain trails. For the more confident riders, but not necessarily the more experienced, we have the Two Hour Ride & Half Day Trips. These rides will give the guide more freedom to trot and canter down forest trails and back roads. For the ultimate adventure our Half Day Trips ride through open fields or to an area in which you can hike up waterfalls and have a picnic lunch.

Located next to Forrest Hills Mountain Resort & Conference Center. Cabins, rooms, luxury suites & group lodges available. Restaurant, pool, spa & more.
