Ghosts, goblins, witches, wizards and more will be wandering the streets of Downtown Dahlonega on October 31, 2017 at Trick-or-Treat Dahlonega. This event, brought to the community by the Dahlonega-Lumpkin County Chamber of Commerce and downtown merchants, provides a safe environment for parents to bring children trick or treating during daylight hours.
The event will take place on Tuesday, October 31 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM, rain or shine. Trick-or-Treat Dahlonega is intended for children ages 12 and under and appropriate costumes are appreciated! For safety reasons, the roads will be closed and re-routed during the event.
Costume Contest at the Dahlonega Gold Museum at 6:00 PM
Registration: 5:15 PM to 5:45 PM
Age groups for costumes with 1st, 2nd, 3rd & most original awards
Trunk-or-Treat presented by UNG Office of Residence Life
6:00 PM to 8:00 PM
In parking lot 16 adjacent to Chestatee Street
Please help Dahlonega keep this family fun tradition! Donate candy at the Visitors Center, Bank of the Ozarks, North Georgia Hair Cutters, and United Community Bank. (Donated candy will be distributed to the downtown merchants)
