Event Description:
Whether it’s rock, folk, country or blues, this legendary 'song-writer's songwriter' has written hits all the way from Brad Paisley & the Dixie Chicks, to Del McCoury, Sam Bush & Keb Mo, contributing songs to three of 2016’s best albums alone! Scott wrote 9 of 14 songs on his own new album, “Couchville Sessions,” as well as 3 songs on the like-minded Carl Hayes magnificent new disc, “Lovers and Leavers.” He also wrote "1000 Things" from Sarah Jarosz's award winning "Build Me Up From Bones" album; Just came off of 18 mos. touring in Robert Plant's Band of Joy; Produced, co-wrote & performed on 3 songs from Zac Brown's latest project "Heavy Is the Head; - and produced both Jonathan Edwards & Malcolm Holcombe latest releases. All of these artists hail from different genres, but all are master craftsmen at fitting words to notes, as is Darrell Scott, who can also make most any instrument support his emotion filled vocals. Amazingly up and coming Dahlonega songwriter, RADFORD WINDHAM opens!
