Event Description:
The University of North Georgia softball team proudly invites you to learn the fundamentals of the game while showing your talent at the program’s Softball Prospect Camp. Join head coach Mike Davenport and his staff as you sharpen your skills, increase your understanding of the game and display your talent. The experienced staff will provide instruction to help you become a better player. Prospect camp is open to any high school player and junior college athletes that have aspirations to play at the next level. This camp will provide players with the fundamentals needed for years to come. 

Cost for the camp is $150.00. Each camp is limited to the first 40 applicants. Campers will be divided into teams for daily instruction and games. Camp instruction, drills and games will take place at Haines & Carolyn Hill Stadium on the University of North Georgia campus in Dahlonega. All campers need tennis shoes, cleats/spikes, and a bat & glove. Check-in is at the Softball Complex at 8:30 a.m. on the day of camp. The camp runs from 9:00 to 4:00 with a one hour lunch break. Campers are encouraged to bring their own lunch. 

Participants are only allowed to leave the Softball Complex with a parent/guardian and permission from the staff. 

DO NOT bring valuable items as UNG is not responsible for lost or stolen items. All campers must bring a pair of tennis shoes and pitchers must wear turf shoes or rubber cleats to pitch inside the circle. Please mark the camper’s name on each item. NO EQUIPMENT WILL BE PROVIDED.

CANCELLATIONS : There is a $50 cancellation fee. Cancellation requests received in writing prior to one week before camp start date will receive a refund less a $50 cancellation fee. No refunds will be given less than one week before camp start date.

NOTE: After you've registered & paid the fee, you will need to complete registration by submitting the required participant forms. Completed forms can be emailed to Molly Child, molly.child@ung.edu or turned in at checkin on the day of camp. Forms are available at:
