Name: Mommy Time Out Retreat – Your Time for Reflection and Self-Care
Date: April 6, 2017 - April 9, 2017
Trip Builder: View Trip
Event Description:
Are you a busy mom who longs to take time for yourself without feeling guilty?

Are you ready for some much needed pampering and fun with other like-minded mamas?

Then join us on a fabulous retreat crafted just for you!

As the sun rises in the beautiful Northern Georgia mountains, the only sound you hear are the birds chirping outside your window. You slowly rise and take a peek outside. Stillness and wilderness surrounds you.

About the retreat:
We all need a helping hand from time to time, and after you enter motherhood it’s no different. In fact, it’s in the best interest of your whole family that you find support in your journey.

The Mommy Time Out Retreat will assist you in focusing inward to reveal your deepest desires, as a mother and as a woman.
We will focus on self-care techniques and mindful tools that you can apply to your daily life once you return home.

This retreat will be a tune-up for your mind, body and soul.

The Resort:
Located just an hour north of Atlanta, Dahlonega Spa Resort feels like a world away. As you go through the winding road up the mountain, you experience the tranquility and beauty that surrounds you.

The Cuisine:
As part of your retreat package, all of your meals are included during the retreat, starting with dinner on night of arrival, breakfast, lunch and dinner the following days, and breakfast on day of departure. You will be presented with a variety of nourishing home-cooked meals. The menu will change daily and feature plant-based dishes. Some of the featured dishes might include soups, salads, stews, specialty sandwiches, and desserts.

The Delights:
The beauty of being a world away in the wilderness of the mountains is that you can really disconnect from the noises of everyday and tune in inside. Get a massage, take a nap, walk on the nature trails, go into town, visit a winery, or partake in the art of doing nothing. These things await your arrival.

The Excursion:
Also included in the retreat package is a trip to the beautiful Amicalola Falls State Park. Expect to witness breath-taking views of the tumbling waters from the many trails and staircases from the tallest cascading waterfall in the Southeast.

The Winery Trip:
As an additional retreat option, we will offer a wine tour to a local winery, touring the vineyard, learning about wine making, as well as enjoying a wonderful, private wine tasting.

This Mommy Time Out retreat is brought to you by & led by Angélica Williams and Dori Thomsen.
