Event Description:

The 2nd Annual Dahlonega Science Festival will take place on the weekend of March 1 – 3, 2019.  The festival will feature science-themed events that are open and free to the public.

Activities Include:

Thursday night kick-off (February 28, 2019):

  • Science Trivia @ Shenanigans

Friday night (March 1)

  • Planetarium activities, speaker and shows (UNG HNS)

Saturday (March 2)

  • Children’s Hands-on Science Activities (WOW Bldg)

  • Science of the Circus (TBD)

  • Planetarium Shows (UNG HNS)

  • Speakers (Bourbon Street Grille)

  • Speaker Q&A (Naturally Georgia)

  • Panels (Shenanigans)

  • Forensics Lab (Old Jail)

  • Maker’s Fair (UNG Choice Street Innovation Center)

  • Escape Room (Old Jail)

  • Discovery Center (Community House)

Sunday (March 3)

  • Special brunch speaker @ Bourbon Street Grille
