Bear on the Square Volunteer Orientation
Bear on the Square Mountain Festival will hold an orientation session for all registered and potential volunteers at 6 p.m. on Thursday, March 21, at the Community House, 111 N. Park St.
Bear 101 will feature festival information, opportunities to talk to committee chairs and signup to volunteer, and refreshments. The festival, which attracts from 40,000 to 50,000 people to Dahlonega each year, has 26 areas of responsibility and offers several hundred opportunities for volunteering.
The 23rd annual Bear on the Square Festival will take place April 27 and 28, with dinner and auction Friday, April 26.
