Name: A 3-day Retreat: Breath, Body & Sound
Date: October 13, 2017 - October 15, 2017
Trip Builder: View Trip
Event Description:
This weekend retreat is being held at Dahlonega Spa Resort, a stunning panoramic location in the north Georgia mountains during peak fall foliage. Dahlonega Spa Resort is situated on 72 acres of open meadows and woods with a 40 foot walking labyrinth and 1.5 miles of walking trails. There is a large outdoor hot tub perfect for night-time star-gazing as well as an on-site spa with massage and body treatments.

What is breathwork? The breath is the most accurate and instantaneous mirror for how we feel, think and live. By consciously connecting with the breath through a safe and gentle process, we are updating these feelings, thoughts and physical sensations to live with more happiness, ease and pleasure in life. Think of it as a re-boot to your body, mind and spirit when the “system” is sluggish or not functioning optimally. The benefits of breathwork can include: more clarity, reduced anxiety and depression, increased stress-resilience, increased energy, feelings of more ease and flow in life, decreased physical pain, heightened insight, awakened presence, expanded sense of connection with self and others.

What is sound healing? Everything in the universe is in a constant state of vibration, including every bone, tissue, organ and cell in our body. When we are in a state of sound health, all of our body parts are vibrating harmoniously at their optimal or resonant frequency. When our vibration is not in sync with our optimal frequency we can feel out of sorts, imbalanced and depleted. Shamanic sound healing can help bring your vibration back into resonance, thus allowing you to enjoy a state of relaxation, reduced anxiety and tension, and a boost to the immune system.

Do I have a choice of accommodations?

Yes, there are several options.  Accommodations can be viewed on the Dahlonega Spa Resort website here.

  • Main Inn/West Wing, shared per person $549 SOLD OUT
  • Main Inn/West Wing, single $699
  • Cabin, shared per person $599
  • Cabin, single $799

Can I room with someone I know or bring someone who is not attending the retreat?

Yes.  When you register please let us know that you are attending with someone who is attending the retreat and that you would like to share a room with them.  You each pay the all-inclusive double accommodations rate. If you are bringing someone who is not attending the retreat, the pricing below is all-inclusive with accommodations and meals for the companion non-attendee.

  • Main Inn/West Wing, shared non-attendee rate $350
  • Cabin, shared non-attendee rate $380

What if I would like shared accommodations but am coming on my own?

If you request double occupancy and you are not traveling with a roommate, we will pair you with a same-gendered roommate, when possible.  Please register early as this increases the likelihood of being able to be paired.  You are also welcome to bring a friend or family member as a non-participant for a companion rate. Please email us for this reduced companion pricing.   Note:  Dahlonega Spa Resorts policy is that if no roommate is available that you will receive a single room and pay the single accommodations price.

Can I add on days if I want to extend my stay?

Yes and we highly recommend it to enhance your retreat experience.  Additional nights can be arranged directly by calling Dahlonega Spa Resort at 1-866-345-4900.  Please reserve your retreat spot with us first!
