Trick-or-Treat Dahlonega Ghosts, goblins, witches, wizards and more will be wandering the streets of Downtown Dahlonega on Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at Trick-or-Treat Dahlonega. This event, brought to the community by the Dahlonega-Lumpkin County Chamber of Commerce, DDA, and downtown merchants, provides a safe environment for parents to bring children trick or treating during daylight hours. The event will take place on Tuesday, October 31 from 5:30 PM to 7 PM, rain or shine. Trick-or-Treat Dahlonega is intended for children ages 12 and under and appropriate costumes are appreciated! Concord Baptist will also be hosting music and games in Hancock Park from 5:30-8:30. For safety reasons, the roads will be closed and re-routed during the event. Costume Contest at the Dahlonega Gold Museum at 5:45 PM Registration: 5 PM to 5:30 PM Age groups: Birth - 3 years; 4-7 years; 8-12 years 1st, 2nd, & 3rd prizes for each age group & 1 Overall winner Trunk-or-Treat presented by UNG Office of Residence Life 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM In parking lot 16 adjacent to Chestatee Street Halloween Magic Shows Shows at 5:30, 6:30, & 7:30 Dahlonega Market Place above Giggle Monkey Toys. The event begins Saturday, November 10, 2018 with a 5K and 10K Charity Run (Run for Rangers) at 8 a.m. beginning in Hancock Park, Dahlonega, GA. Registration is $30. This will be followed by a parade in downtown Dahlonega at 11 a.m. that will be followed by a County Music Festival in Hancock Park. Kids play area, food and beverage, beer and wine, and merchandise tends will surround the park.
